An Instagram bug affecting some users is preventing them from temporarily disabling their accounts, TechCrunchreports. "Temporarily Disable Account" NOT WORKING from Instagram

Instagram accounts can only be disabled from a browser, as per Instagram's instructions. We were able to successfully disable an account by following the support steps. Instagram currently allows users to temporarily disable their accounts once a week.

Other users have been able to disable their accounts by answering "No" to "Was this helpful?" on the support article and then filling out a form. We have reached out to Instagram for more information.
